We talked with several realtors in the Traverse City area before deciding that Susan Hintz was the right person for us. We were confident that she had the knowledge of the area being a native of Traverse City. She also listened carefully to our needs and asked the right questions to help us clarify our thoughts and to make sure that she fully understood what we were looking for. Understanding our needs was critical since we did not live in the Traverse City area and the time we would have for viewing homes would be limited.
Our primary needs were for a location with a water view, a fairly private setting, and a more modern home. We also had a fairly precise budget we were operating under. Susan would send us listings that we would review ahead of time and decide which to visit. Very quickly she knew which ones we were most likely to be interested in, which made it easier for us and also more productive when we were in for showings....and she was always willing to work with us over the weekends when we were available to come to Traverse City.
After looking at homes over a period of time, we recently closed on one that truly meets all of our needs....a home in very good condition, in a great location and setting with a lot of trees and a wonderful view of the east bay, and at an affordable price. Susan spent many hours with us to ensure that we would be satisfied, and we ended up with a home that is more than we had hoped for. Susan's dedication, commitment and professionalism were key in helping us find the perfect home.

Buying a retirement home was important to us. We worked all of our adult lives so we could enjoy the “northern exposure” in the Traverse City area. While living almost 300 miles away, Susan was wonderful in communicating via e-mail and phone messages with us and made time to show us homes we thought would work for us.
